We played at Los Alamitos, CA for the Independence Day festivities there. We started with the ska band, then the rock band, and while all this was going on, the "marching" band was going around entertaining the crowd. Needless to say the rock band pwned all of us, slaying the crowd with their epic rock songs. Our commander shreds noobs on his guitar and all we can do is bow down and scream "we're not worthy!" Pure hax I say.Army bands are now supposed to be on what they call the "modular" system where multiple groups within the unit can go around performing no problem. We're not up there yet. When the ska band was performing, the "marching" band had no trombones. I imagine it wasn't too awesome without the almighty trombone section to bring glory into the band.
Fun times for everyone. Its a good day to be in the army.
P.S. I say "marching" band because we weren't really marches around, kinda miandering around playing marchings while standing still.
